A new solar cell factory is coming to Rockdale, Texas!
🏭 T1 Energy will spend $850 million to build the plant, bringing hundreds of jobs to the area. These solar cells will help make clean energy ☀️ and support the U.S. energy supply chain. Rockdale is just 30 miles from Taylor, where Samsung is building a huge chip factory, so the two areas could work together to grow the region.

🤝 The solar plant will make 5 gigawatts of solar cells each year – that’s a lot of power!
